Aa No Bhadraha, krutvo Yantu Vishwataha!
Let noble thoughts come to us from every side. Rk Veda I: 89:
I bow to our Masters [Gurus] as I share all these sacred chants. Namo Paramam Rishibhyo, Namo Paramam Rishi Bhiyahah as I start with a sloka from the Rk Veda.
- Prayer to our Lord Maha Vishnu. Very often it is the first prayer chanted for major functions including our meetings seeking God’s guidance and protection while we endeavor to select future members of the BOT of the CVHTS.

- Narayaneeyam. Prayers to our Lord Sri Krishna.
Dasakam: 100 [Segment]- Slokam: 01. This is from the magnificent Sanskrit Poem Narayaneeyam composed by Sri Meppathur Narayana Bhattatiri Nambootiri which is based on the glorious narrative about Lord Sri Krishna- Srimad Bhaagvatam bestowed on all of creation from time memorial by Maharishi Vyaasa. I bow to our Masters [Gurus] as I share all these sacred chants. This is beautiful concept- of visualizing the Supreme Lord analogous to Arjuna and Sanjaya being blessed with the Vishwa Roopa Sandarśana described in Discourse 11 of the sacred Srimad Bhagvad Gita in the midst of the Kurukshetra Battle field just as devotees[ we as individual representatives of Nara- Arjuna] seek this experience of visualizing our personal Srimad Narayana while chanting the Narayaneeyam in midst of our toil and trouble trying to survive and thrive through tempests and temptations [ our personal Kurukshetras] by God’s grace and guidance.

In front of me, I see a halo of radiance excelling a very thick bed of blue lilies,Which made me feel that I am bathed in the nectar of the sight. Then, in the center of the radiance I see the form of a divine young body enchanting by the budding of youth. . He is surrounded by sages like Naarada As seen by his hair standing erect on all his limbs. Who is signifying their thrilling experience of Supreme Bliss, and by a bevy of beautiful maidens personifying the Upanishads (or the Gopis of Brindavan?

Oh God, Oh Lord of Guruvayur , Oh Krishna, Oh ocean of mercy, Let the soles of your feet which is the sweetest part of your body, To the great sages, The liberated ones reside there. They pour all the desires of their devotees and are like the sprouts of the celestial tree. O Lord of Guruvaayur! May those feet always rest in my heart. IV. "Kasturi Tilakam" is the 2.108 Slokam of Sri Krishna Karnamrutham, a string of Bhakthi laden poems offered at the sacred feet of the Lord . The author of Sri Krishna Karnamrutham is Bilva Mangalar (AD 1220-1300). He was a contemporary of Swami Desikan (AD 1268-1369). He belongs to the tradition of great devotees of Krishna of Kerala such as Narayana Bhattatiri, the author of Sri Narayaneeyam, Poondhaanam the author of the insightful and poignant poem of Jnanapana and Vasudeva Nambootiri and other great scholars of Dasama Skhandham of Srimad Bhagavatham.
Meaning of this beautiful Shloka which has a contrast between ornamented God and God as the supreme ornament.
