What is Telepsychiatry?
Telepsychiatry connects psychiatrists with their patients via online video sessions. With telepsychiatry, there is no need for either patient or physician to travel to an office. With a telepsychiatry platform, HIPAA-compliant video sessions can be done from anywhere – all you need is a broadband internet connection, computer or laptop, and a webcam. This convenience expands my availability and outreach, making it easier to give my patients the most attentive care when and where they need it. Routine counseling and behavioral therapy are enhanced when you the patient can participate from the comfort of home.
Telepsychiatry makes mental healthcare adaptable for both patients and physicians. What is a Concierge Psychiatric Service?
I have more time for you! I have fewer patients and we will have enough time during your appointments to address your problems and concerns. I am also much more accessible between visits for your phone calls, emails, and seeing new intakes with little wait. When you have a concern, you call me directly, and can expect to get a personal reply to your questions and concerns in a timely manner.
A defining feature of a concierge practice is that payment is directly to the physician. Your recovery plan is tailored and chosen by us, not any third party. I am not a member of any insurance panels, and do not accept insurance payments. Your confidentiality is strongy safeguarded without interefence from a third party!
Many insurance companies provide what are called out-of-network benefits which allow you to be reimbursed directly for services rendered by me.
